Newbury, UK, 1st December 2025 – Nuvias UC today announced the sale of its hardware business to Northamber, a leading UK and European specialist distributor in AV and UC, for £7.1 million. Northamber is a natural strategic fit for the hardware business, bringing a strong heritage, proven AV and UC expertise, and a clear focus on continued investment in the intelligent workplace.
With the sale complete, all software and service operations now come together under the Konekt brand, enabling accelerated investment in its cloud platform strategy. Konekt already delivers £40m in GII revenue, serves more than 400 customers across Europe, and is growing at more than 25 per cent year on year. This provides a strong foundation for the next phase of focused growth.
The cloud communications sector is experiencing double-digit year-on-year growth, creating substantial opportunities for channel partners. According to Mordor Intelligence, the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market is projected to reach over $175 billion by 2030 (25.4%) CAGR. Gartner also forecasts worldwide public cloud end-user spending to reach over $723 billion in 2025, with all cloud segments expected to deliver double-digit growth. The move allows Konekt to redirect resources toward its core software platform and services delivery model while ensuring the hardware business thrives with Northamber, a strategic and highly respected buyer in the AV and UC ecosystem.
Nuvias UC is committed to ensuring the hardware business succeeds under Northamber while Konekt continues its evolution as the dedicated distribution partner for cloud communications platforms, associated software, and services that enable the channel. Konekt will fully exit hardware across Europe before the end of the financial year. This will be managed in a coordinated manner to ensure continuity for partners and vendors throughout the transition.
